Sectors of focus
Where APAC demand is strongest
We focus on four sectors where Israeli innovation is globally recognised and APAC corporations face the most acute strategic challenges.
🔐

Cybersecurity

Israel is the world's most concentrated source of cybersecurity innovation. With a heritage of building some of the most sophisticated defence and intelligence technologies in existence, Israeli cyber companies are trusted by governments and enterprises across every major market. APAC's accelerating digital infrastructure makes this one of the highest-priority technology needs in the region.

Agriculture

Israel has developed world-class agricultural technology out of necessity, building precision irrigation, crop monitoring, and yield optimisation systems that now operate across some of the world's most challenging environments. APAC's scale of agricultural production, combined with increasing pressure from climate variability and labour costs, makes Israeli agritech highly relevant to Australian and regional operators.

🏥

Healthcare

Israeli healthtech spans diagnostics, digital health, medical devices, and AI-assisted clinical decision-making. Israeli companies have built a reputation for combining deep medical expertise with engineering rigour, producing technologies that are already operating in some of the world's most demanding healthcare systems. APAC's aging populations and healthcare infrastructure investment create strong conditions for adoption.

🌍

Climate & Energy

From water scarcity solutions and desalination technology to advanced materials for energy storage and environmental monitoring systems, Israeli companies are building the infrastructure of a lower-carbon economy. APAC faces some of the world's most significant climate transition requirements and is investing heavily in the technologies that can help meet them.

Founder, Sigma Ventures
Previously Intel Capital · Founder, Intel Israel Incubator

Eitan founded Sigma Ventures to address a gap he saw firsthand: Israeli deep-tech companies with world-class solutions had no structured pathway into APAC markets, and Australian and Japanese corporates had no reliable way to access Israeli innovation. He built Sigma to be the bridge.

Prior to founding Sigma Ventures, Eitan served as Strategic Investment Manager at Intel Capital and founded Intel Israel's first startup incubator program, giving him direct insight into how world-class technology ecosystems build commercial bridges across borders.

Operating from Sydney with deep relationships across the Israeli technology ecosystem, Eitan combines hands-on deal facilitation with a proprietary intelligence platform (ITRApac) to deliver advisory services that are grounded in data, informed by real engagements, and focused on commercial outcomes.
